Three days shy of its U.S. release, "Morning Glory" has gotten its world premiere on Sunday, November 7. A bunch of celebrities headed to the Clearview Cinemas Ziegfeld Theater in New York City that day to attend the special screening.
Rachel McAdams, who has a lead role in the film, graced the black carpet in a gray dress that perfectly fitted her shape. Harrison Ford, whose character gives a trouble to McAdams', came in a formal outfit. The similar type of clothes was also picked by other male stars including Jeff Goldblum, Patrick Wilson and Ty Burrell.
Diane Keaton, though old in age, showed her young spirit when hitting the venue in a black leather outfit, baring her smiles to the cameras. Director Roger Michell and producer J.J. Abrams also spared their time supporting the special screening, with the latter tagging along his wife Katie McGrath.
Very pregnant Gretchen Mol additionally came to the event with the companion of husband Kip Williams, wearing a long loose black dress that covered her belly. Host Mario Lopez took part in the premiere, using the chance to have an interview with Ford. Natasha Bedingfield, whose song "Strip Me" is among the film's soundtracks, was seen among the guests as well.
"Morning Glory" is a highly-spirited film about TV producer Becky Fuller who takes charge of "Daybreak" (the last-place national morning news show) after fired from a local news program. Bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy, Becky's problem is getting bigger as Mike takes his clash with co-host Colleen Peck on air.
While Becky's love affair with fellow producer is blossoming, she is now forced struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, her job and ultimately, the show itself. The comedy is ready to bow in U.S. theaters on November 10.
