Wilson Cruz of "My So-Called Life" makes a return to ABC by guest starring on "Grey's Anatomy". The first look of him as a groom whose bride got a freak accident on their wedding day has been released. It looks like Callie would be the attending doctor and do the talking.
Cruz will appear in the January 13 episode where another blast from the past by the name of Scott Foley is also in. Also TV Guide reported that Derek will begin his Alzheimer trials, but he's still hot and cold about including Meredith in the team. And then he chooses another researcher which leads to a huge confrontation with his wife.

Lindsay Lohan's Mother Has Confirmed The Family
Lindsay Lohan's mother has confirmed the family is considering legal action in a bid to stop a movie spoofing the actress' colorful personal life. Lydia Hearst and Joan Collins have signed up for roles in "Dogs in Pocketbooks", about a troubled young star making her way in Hollywood, and screenwriter Charles Casillo has confirmed the model/socialite's part is "obviously based on Lindsay Lohan".
The move has already riled Lohan's father Michael, who criticized the film plans, and now the actress' mother Dina has confirmed she is talking to lawyers about the project. Lohan settled a multi-million dollar battle with executives at financial firm E-Trade back in September over allegations they mocked her in an advert, and Dina is convinced bosses behind "Dogs in Pocketbooks" could face a similar lawsuit.
She tells TMZ.com, "(The movie role) is definitely based on Lindsay's likeness... We have a very strong case. It's shadowing E-Trade... Anyone bringing negativity will be dealt with accordingly."
Lawyer Stephanie Ovadia, who has reportedly been retained by Dina, adds, "They are again using her likeness without her being compensated... Not only that but they are advertising the fact that they are using her likeness."

Gabe Okoye and Brittany Matyi Invited Back to The Game Show
Last week, Gabe Okoye and Brittany Matyi, who lost $800,000 in "Million Dollar Money Drop", were invited back to the game show. It was revealed that their answer for a question given by host Kevin Pollak had been wrongly deemed incorrect.
The couple risked the money on one question, "Which product was sold in stores first, the Macintosh computer, the Post-It Note, or the Sony Walkman?" Gabe confidently chose "post-it notes", but they were told that Walkman came out a year before the post-it notes.
In fixing the error, Fox released a statement, "Unfortunately, the information our research department originally obtained from 3M regarding when Post-it notes were first sold was incomplete. As a result of new information we have received from 3M, we feel it is only fair to give our contestants, Gabe and Brittany, another shot to play Million Dollar Money Drop."
In response to the invitation, Gabe had this to say, "If they decide to [give us the money] then that's their decision, if not, then, you know, it is what it is." He added, "Honestly, it was a lot of money - you start thinking about what you could do with it, trying to help the family out. That's really what we wanted to do with it, is just help our families out."
However, Fox declined to give back the money, insisting the final question in the game is always all-or-nothing and they got it wrong anyway. "They never had a chance to win that money. Ever. No matter what," Pollak told The Hollywood Reporter. "They got the last question wrong. None of the clips [on the web] show the last question."
He is keen to have Gabe and Brittany back on the show, but disappointed about their hesitance. "I say right on," he said. "But now they are saying there's too much pressure? Oh my God! Way to get the country to turn against you. That's interesting, they would make such a stink and then ultimately maybe not come back."

'Jersey Shore' Offers An Extended Trailer
"Jersey Shore" offers an extended trailer to give a better light of what happened during the summer in Seaside Heights. Billed as "Back to Jersey", the video includes all the usual bad behavior displayed by the gang, including booze, fights, arrest and nudity.
What's different in this third season is the addition of Snooki's friend Deena who Sammi likes to call "four feet tall, a short little meatball, just like Snooki". Unsurprisingly, the new member doesn't get along with Sammi either like the rest of the guidettes. Apparently, Sammi is still the villain here for she's seen punching Ronnie in the jaw hard.
However, it's not the jaw that got Ronnie on doctor's examination bed. The bulky guido had to pull down his pants so that the doctor can perform proctology. Another guy got into accident when he tried to do pole dancing on a pole designed for light women. The Situation and Vinny got to do whatever they want, with the former getting an eye treat from Deena.
The new season of "Jersey Shore" premieres Thursday, January 6, at 10 P.M. ET on MTV. Another trailer, which may or may not be the same as this one, is going to be screened at MTV New Year's Bash which is featuring the gang.

Joined by Isabel, an elusive warrior with a dangerous agenda of her own, the brothers must vanquish horrific creatures and traitorous knights before they can reach Belladonna. If Thadeous can find his inner hero, he can help his brother prevent the destruction of his land. Danny McBride takes the role of Thadeous, James Franco takes the role of Fabious and Natalie Portman takes the role of Isabel. They are supported by Zooey Deschanel as Belladonna and Justin Theroux as Leezar.

David Arquette Is Putting His Wacky Persona to Good Use
David Arquette is putting his wacky persona to good use - he's developing a quirky game show which will see celebrity guests rank themselves against their fellow stars. The "Scream" actor has teamed up with Merv Griffin Entertainment to produce and host "Ranking the Stars", a show featuring a group of famous panelists who are asked to rate one another on a series of topics.
The celebrities will poke fun at themselves as they determine whether they are more or less likely than their fellow panelists to do select tasks, such as tip off the paparazzi to their whereabouts, or record a sex tape, reports trade paper Daily Variety.
And Arquette, whose marriage troubles with wife Courteney Cox have been hitting the headlines in recent months, insists the show is perfectly suited to his style of humor. He tells trade paper Daily Variety, "A lot of my humor is from a self-depreciating place anyway. My flaws are what make me funny and I have no problem letting people poke fun at that."

Showtime Made Use of 'Dexter' Season 5 Finale on Sunday
Showtime made use of "Dexter" season 5 finale on Sunday, December 12 to promote its new comedy, "Shameless". The cable generously gave the first 20 minutes of the adaptation of British TV show with the same title.
The pilot is none other than the introduction to the characters, mainly the people who live under the same crooked roof and call themselves the Gallaghers. William H. Macy plays a far-from-stellar working-class patriarch of an unconventional Chicago brood of six while Emmy Rossum is the eldest daughter keeping things together.
Rossum's younger siblings are played by Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Kenney, Ethan Cutkosky and twins Blake Alexander and Brennan Kane Johnson who play baby Liam. There are four other major characters played by Joan Cusack, Justin Chatwin, Shanola Hampton and Steve Howey.
Rossum said that the show's creator, Paul Abbott who also creates the original version, banned the cast from watching the British one for fear of imitation. "There's a lot of pressure to live up to and also do something different than the British series because it is so great and has such a loyal fanbase that we're not trying to copy - we're just trying to do our own version of it. I think the stories will be somewhat similar - similar-ish," Rossum said.
The comedy begins airing January 9 at 10/9c. The following sneak peek may be unsuitable for those below 17.

When "Smallville" returns to screen in 2011, fans will be able to see some familiar faces such as Lionel Luthor, Chloe Sullivan and Martha Kent. While Lionel had appeared in an episode earlier this season, this would mark the big return of Allison Mack who quit the show in May, as well as Annett O'Toole's.

'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides's First Stills
Few days before unleashing a trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", Walt Disney Pictures has given away the first stills from the movie. Debuted by USA Today, one of the photos features Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow being dragged by two men in uniforms. The other image has the eccentric pirate and Penelope Cruz's Angelica soaking on a swamp.
This fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film begins as Sparrow is ordered by King George II (Richard Griffiths) to seek the Fountain of Youth. He then recruits Geoffrey Rush's Barbossa, his old nemesis, to join the mission. Along the way, he will meet a friendly mermaid (Astrid Berges-Frisbey) and be tempted by a wicked former flame, Angelica, and her sadistic father, Ian McShane's Blackbeard.
Terry Rossio, who writes the script along with Ted Elliott, confirms this journey is a standalone story. "The three previous films are a trilogy, with an intricate, interwoven tapestry of characters. I would call this a stand-alone type of story," he explains.
He additionally describes Cruz's character as "a kindred spirit who is a con artist at heart as well. She's not only a romantic interest, but an equal and effective adversary." As for other new characters, the mermaids, producer Jerry Bruckheimer dishes, "These mermaids are ferocious. On the surface they're beautiful, but once you get them underwater, they turn pretty scary."
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" will be the first film of "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise shot in 3-D. Rob Marshall serves behind the lens for the May 20, 2011 release. The first trailer for the upcoming action comedy movie will be available for viewing pleasure on December 13.

Kim Kardashian Is Clawing Her Way to The Top of Hollywood's Rich List
Kim Kardashian is clawing her way to the top of Hollywood's rich list - the socialite has been named the highest paid reality TV star of 2010. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" beauty pulled in a massive $6 million in the last 12 months, thanks to her reality series, lucrative endorsement deals and various promotional appearances.
The 30-year-old star is said to make as much as $75,000 for a single appearance. Lauren Conrad came second in the ranking - she boosted her bank balance by $5 million in 2010, despite leaving the cast of "The Hills" last year. Conrad has made her fortune with a best-selling fashion range and a trilogy of young adult books.
Conrad's former co-star Audrina Patridge was also namechecked after earning $3.5 million thanks to a deal with hamburger chain Carl's Jr., tying for fourth place with TV personality Kate Gosselin. Michael J. Fox Returns As Disabled Lawyer on 'The Good Wife'
Given applause and poised for Emmy nominations, Michael J. Fox returns as disabled lawyer on "The Good Wife". First reported by EW, his reprisal of Louis Canning is now officially marked with his return to the set on Tuesday, December 7.
Fox played an attorney who uses his condition to sway a jury during a test case for a huge class action suit against a pharmaceutical company in the November 9 episode of the CBS drama. His co-stars gushed on his brilliant portrayal of the character, which actually mirrors his real condition. The actor was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991 at the age of 30.
"As soon as we saw the dailies of Michael playing Louis Canning, we started pleading with him to return," series creators and executive producers Robert and Michelle King told EW. "Luckily he agreed. He's amazing in this role: unpretentiously brave and funny. It's good to have him back."
Canning will return for episode 13, titled "Real Deal", which finds Alicia attempting to sign up homeowners for an Erin Brockovich-like class action lawsuit. "As the two rush to sign up the same clients, Alicia begins to worry that Canning is actually working for the defendant and trying to undermine her suit by creating a competing one," as stated on the official site.
FOX Doesn't Have A Need for 'Lie to Me'
FOX apparently doesn't have a need for "Lie to Me" beyond its initial 13-episode order. Sources have confirmed to several sites that the network has no plan to order the back 9 although it does not mean that the show is canceled.
Starring Tim Roth, the crime drama will be replaced next year by new cop drama called "The Chicago Code" which comes from its former executive producer Shawn Ryan. The third season run of "Lie to Me" will be complete at the end of January. After that, it will stay in the bubble until a decision is made in May.
There is a doubt that "Lie to Me" has any hope for renewal at all, but all signs point to another direction. The show, despite changing time slots every now and then for the network's adjustments, has remained solid in all of them. In fact, it recently scored its season high of 6.3 million viewers on Monday, November 29 night.

I mean, why not?..."
"When I saw the film, it just blew me away. And he blew me away. His portrayal of Sean was just amazing."

'The X Factor' Officially Enters The Final Round
"The X Factor" officially enters the final round as Mary Byrne left the show on Sunday, December 5. The 50-year-old mother received the lowest vote from the audience and eventually lost the judges' votes after a sing-off against Cher Lloyd.
Mary sang James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" while Lloyd sang Britney Spears' "Everytime". Mary's mentor Louis Walsh voted to keep her while the others, including mentor Cheryl Cole, picked Cher. "This is quite straightforward. Mary I have supported you from the beginning and tonight proved what a good singer you are," Simon Cowell said.
He continued, "Cher, I actually liked that song you just sang. It was like hearing you for the first time. The act I'm sending through to the final is Cher." Joining Cher in the final are One Direction, Matt Cardle, and Rebecca Ferguson.
The result night was full of guest appearances. The show's 2008 winner Alexandra Burke came to perform, followed by "Glee" cast, and Black Eyed Peas. Actor Jack Black threw Simon out of his judge seat during the commercial break.

Billed to Portray Gwen Stacy in Untitled Spider-Man Reboot
Billed to portray Gwen Stacy in untitled Spider-Man reboot, Emma Stone has changed her hair color to resemble the fiction character. On Sunday, December 5, the 22-year-old actress showed off her new blonde locks when appearing on the red carpet of Trevor Live at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California, giving an early look at how she will be seen as the love interest of Peter Parker.
Though she was widely recognized with her red hair, Stone's natural hair color is actually blonde. Learning this, director Marc Webb said when announcing her casting, "Much to my surprise, it was fun to find out that our choice for Gwen (Stone) is also a natural blonde."
The "Easy A" babe herself recently revealed that she has been preparing to shoot the film, including trying her new locks. "Today I went and did hair tests, because I have blonde hair now since Gwen has blonde hair. My natural hair is blonde, so it's kind of nice," she shared.
Emma Stone is likely to start filming "Spider-Man" reboot in the next few days as in late December she said the production would be kicked off in two weeks. She will star opposite Andrew Garfield who is tapped to portray Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. Marc Web is on board to direct the action fantasy film, which is set to be released on July 3, 2012 in the U.S.

"Aim High" will be released online sometime next year. WB is also planning to release all the episodes in a feature film format on DVD although the target date is not yet revealed.
Peter Jackson Opinion about 'The Hobbit' Racism Claim
A representative for director Peter Jackson has admitted casting crews working on "The Hobbit" made "an incredibly unfortunate error" after a British actress claimed she was turned down for a role in the film because of her skin color. Naz Humphreys, who has Pakistani heritage, attended an audition in the New Zealand city of Hamilton last week but alleges she was rejected because movie bosses only wanted "pale-skinned" actors.
She tells the Waikato Times, "It's 2010 and I still can't believe I'm being discriminated against because I have brown skin. The casting manager basically said they weren't having anybody who wasn't pale-skinned. I would love to be an extra. But it just seemed like a shame because obviously hobbits are not brown or black or any other color."
"They all look kind of homogenized beige and all derived from the Caucasian gene pool." Humphreys has now created a campaign group on Facebook.com titled "Hire hobbits of all colors! Say no to Hobbit racism!" A representative for Jackson claims the director never issued such an order to casting bosses and has branded the incident "an incredibly unfortunate error".
The spokesman adds, "It is not something the producers or the director of The Hobbit were aware of. They would never issue instructions of this kind to the casting crew. All people meeting the age and height requirements are welcome to audition."

Bruce Lee's Family Is 'Very Pleased' with A New Biopic
Bruce Lee's family is "very pleased" with a new biopic about the late martial arts star, according to director Raymond Yip. "Bruce Lee, My Brother" tells the life story of the movie legend, who died at the age of 32 in 1973.
It has been put together with the authorization of Lee's relatives, including his siblings Phoebe, Agnes and Robert, who all contributed their memories and personal stories to help filmmaker Yip tell the truth about Lee's early years. And Yip reveals the family is very happy with the final result.
He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "The Lee family supplied us with all the details and the tidbits (sic) of their family life. So we took great care to be loyal to the truth and avoid anything that felt fake, which made it rather difficult for us in terms of creating the structure of the script. But the Lee family was very pleased with the result, especially with how close it was to what actually happened."
The moviemaker also claims Robert was stunned by how much actor Aarif Rahman, who plays the lead role in the biopic, looks like his late brother. Yip adds, "(Everybody) including Lee's brother Robert... (was) quite amazed by how much Aarif resembles Bruce. No one can say for sure whether an actor really embodies Bruce's spirit except for his family. So it was a go from then on."
The film is released this month to mark what would have been Lee's 70th birthday on Sunday, November 28.
